ENDA: Work place is the Wrong Place for Sexual Politics

Let your U.S. senator know you oppose ENDA

The Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA) has passed the U.S. House and Senator Edward Kennedy is now leading the push for a vote in the U.S. Senate. ENDA is aimed at providing heightened protections for a particular sexual behavior - homosexuality. It would grant special consideration on the basis of “sexual orientation” that would not be extended to other employees in the workplace.
ENDA violates employers’ and employees’ Constitutional freedoms of religion, speech and association. The proposed legislation would prohibit employers from taking their deeply held beliefs into account when making personnel decisions. This would pose an unprecedented intrusion by the federal government into people’s lives.

Chinese-Christians Are Paying a High Price for the Olympics

It’s widely known that China has been rounding up and persecuting First Amendment advocates. These Chinese dissidents who use the Internet and demonstrations to protest what China has been doing often disappear or are sent to re-education camps.
Little, however, is said about China’s religious persecution, especially of Christians. Yet it is on par with, if not worse than, the harsh and oppressive treatment of demonstrators in Tibet that has received widespread news coverage and caused public outrage. And it’s been happening for years.
Nevertheless, the 2008 Olympic Games were awarded to China in July 2001, with the expectation that the Games would act as a catalyst for the improvement of human rights in China and cause China to change its image. And over the past seven years, China has invested huge amounts of time and resources in preparing for the Olympics in order to make a good impression on the world. Unfortunately, these preparations have included the “religious repression, torture, sexual abuse and arbitrary detention” of many religious individuals, particularly Chinese Christians.
Although China is officially an atheist country, the Chinese constitution declares that citizens shall enjoy freedom of religious belief with one stipulation: that so-called freedom can only be exercised within the walls of state churches. What this merging of church and state means is that the government dictates religion.

A posting today by as-Sahab Productions, the media wing of al Qaeda, features a five minute, three second recorded warning by Osama bin Laden to the European countries that published the controversial cartoons of the Islamic Prophet Mohammed. Bin Laden described the publication of the drawings as a greater crime than Western forces targeting Muslim villages and killing women and children.
The audio track with English subtitles is presented over the above image of bin Laden holding an AK-47 automatic rifle. Its release coincided with the fifth anniversary of the Iraq War.
In addition to being an overt threat against EU member countries, the message contained a cryptically worded statement that the response to the publication of the cartoons will be “what you see, not what you hear.”

Cartoon described as a greater crime than the war deaths of Muslim women and children.
Bin Laden’s message also included a direct reference to President George W. Bush, described by bin Laden as Europe’s oppressive ally who is about to depart the White House. Bin Laden stated that the “savage acts” of the US-led military coalition in Iraq and Afghanistan “haven’t ended the war, but rather increased our determination to cling to our right, [to] avenge our people and expel the invaders from our country.”

The Threat of Nuclear Attack

Given the nature of how international leaders and their official spokespersons will habitually speak with calm reassurance on the subject of the threat posed by rogue states proliferating or obtaining nuclear weapons technology or of the oft repeated threat issued by Al Qaeda concerning nuclear weapons attacks being the solution to destroying western nations or civilization, it was nevertheless quite incredible to see in just the past 24 hours multiple reports referencing the United Kingdom’s Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, and Germany’s Chancellor, Angela Merkel, speaking so directly to this very real threat. What is the impetus for such commentary being made while officially neither offered any hint of actual intelligence data confirming the threat. We in the United States should recall the “gut feeling” talked about by Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff last July, to say nothing about similarly toned statements issued by the Vice President or former DIRCIA Tenet. Without any real specifics being referenced, do we now have the leaders of the UK and Germany confirming that they have also experienced similar gut feelings? Or is there something more, some real-world impetus for these comments? And I wonder, why now?

April 4, 2002, 1:00 PM PST (FTW)—If all of its dark alleys were explored, the case of Delmart Edward Joseph “Mike” Vreeland is one which is worthy of a book that would rival “War and Peace.” It is a case that has sparked zealous attacks on FTW and me personally, and one which has seriously disturbed many officials in Washington. These attacks are an indication of the threat Vreeland poses to the credibility of the U.S. government. Only one question of any relevance exists. How was this man able to write details that described the events of Sept. 11 while locked in a jail cell, more than a month before the attacks occurred?
It matters little to a housewife in Kansas if Mike Vreeland has a very confusing criminal arrest record—some of it very contradictory and apparently fabricated—for a variety of petty criminal offenses including fraud. But it may be a matter of the gravest importance for the same housewife if this man knew accurate information about the attacks, tried to warn both the U.S. and Canadian governments about them, and was ignored. If a crazy man runs up to you on the street and says that a house is on fire with children trapped inside, and you smell smoke, who is the crazy one if you decide not to investigate?

Before the people of California ran from the raging wildfires last October, my son-in-law’s sister being one of them, their Governor and President were observed fleeing from the truth of our Lord Jesus Christ and his teachings. How? President Bush, a professing Christian, announced again to the entire world audience two of his long held beliefs. He believes that some of the land the God of Israel gave to the Jewish people should be handed over to their Islamic enemies who earnestly desire to finish what Hitler started in the 1930’s, the fiery death of all Jews. Second is his firm conviction that all religions are on different roads leading to Heaven. These kinds of grievous errors cannot come from the heart and mouth of one who truly knows, loves, and is devoted to the Lord Jesus Christ and his teachings. Not to be outdone last October in the race to make everyone “feel” accepted, tolerated, and not offended, Governor Schwarzenegger signed a new law ultimately making it a crime to publicly expose or preach against the perverse sin of homosexuality. Then came the fires! Perhaps the Governor should ask whether he offended God? Will the next President stop the betrayal of Israel and call the nation to repentance for effectively “Sodomizing” an entire generation of young people?

Monitoring the Rise of the New World Order

Tucked beneath a certain mountain, some distance away is a neat place for those who want truth. From this locale we have world wide access, audience, and systems to speak the truth. The truth I speak of is the knowledge of Jesus Christ as Lord, the coming deception on the earth, and the rise of the son of Perdition and his world wide police state. From driving pass the place you would not know it is the center for warning Americans and the world of the devilogue that is going on today. Most people, matter of factly so, ignore the warnings. For them there are conspiracy nuts, but you can trust the government, after all, they say, “Those in charge are Americans too.” Little do they know that some Americans have been casting the net of a one world order for some time. It comes in the form of a secret cabal. Now if you really knew what ‘cabal’ means, would you still think that there is nothing to any secret plot to carry out a political plot? Further would you be bothered at all to know people that follow such plots have gone on record with their intentions?

Institutionalized Spying on Americans
Homeland Security’s National Applications Office (NAO)

This article reviews two police state tools (among many in use) in America. One is new, undiscussed and largely unknown to the public. The other was covered in a December article by this writer called Police State America. Here it is updated with new information.
The National Applications Office (NAO)
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) established a new domestic spying operation in 2007 called the National Applications Office (NOA) and described it as “the executive agent to facilitate the use of intelligence community technological assets for civil, homeland security and law enforcement purposes within the United States.” The office was to begin operating last fall to “build on the long-standing work of the Civil Applications Committee (CAC), which was created in 1974 to facilitate the use of the capabilities of the intelligence community for civil, non-defense uses in the United States.”
With or without congressional authorization or oversight, the executive branch is in charge and will let NAO use state-of-the-art technology, including military satellite imagery, to spy on Americans without their knowledge. Implementation is delayed, however, after Committee on Homeland Security Chairman, Bennie Thompson, and other committee members raised questions of “very serious privacy and civil liberties concerns.” In response, DHS agreed to delay operating (officially) until all matters are addressed and resolved.
